Cheadle is another historic market town which is close to the theme park, Alton Towers. Located in the beautiful Churnet valley, you can expect to enjoy canal and river walks or experience the views from the heritage steam railway. Within a restored Victorian Hall, you can also enjoy the indoor market that runs three times a week.

Northenden was a rural village that grew considerably following overpopulation of Manchester in the 1900’s. Now a thriving suburban village, there are excellent transport links to get you to nearby towns, cities and attractions.
