Well Court
Clitheroe is a small market town with a twice weekly market. It boasts a Castle and wonderful views over the Pendle Hills. In the vicinity are the town of Blackburn and Accrington. The town retains much of its ancient character, and a winding main street climbs to the castle between rows of limestone buildings interspersed with white-fronted Georgian houses. The old town well, in Wellgate, is still in working order.
